Out for a cruise or out on the track, Patriot Exhaust Electronic Cutouts give you complete control over the sound of your exhaust and you can do it all with a wireless remote that features a simple, two wire hook up.
The Patriot Exhaust R&D department has been hard at work perfecting this leak-free, butterfly design. It’s available in dual ($369.99) or single systems ($199.99) with 2.5-inch or 3-inch diameter. The systems’ stainless steel construction resists rust and corrosion over time while boasting superior strength and good looks. Patriot also saved time and money with no welding of the Y-pipe required. This is a DIY bolt-on installation. The leak-free design with butterfly valve seals against a recess machined body, or lip, to prevent nasty leaks.
The system’s compact size makes for easy installation with versatile mounting locations. Each fits a broad range of applications and allows for clearance on lowered vehicles. Turn Outs are located on a spin ring to allow 360-degree adjustability. The included wireless remote has two wire hook-ups to the battery or fuse panel. No in-car switch is required, meaning no holes through the car to run wires.

Originally known as Per-Lux, the company was founded in 1962 by Lavar Holman, primarily a manufacturer of driving and fog lights for the heavy-duty market (big rig trucks). In the early 70’s, an engineer came up with the idea of an electronic ignition system that would replace the points and condenser in distributors. After patenting the product, Per-Lux started manufacturing the Ignitor with sales and marketing emphasis on the lift truck and industrial engine markets.
