After more than two decades of work with IndyCar, World of Outlaws, and USAC race teams, Wilwood Engineering is pleased to announce that Geoff Buxton has joined their team of field sales and support representatives. This team of experts spends every weekend at tracks around the country making sure racers get the most out of their brake systems.
Originally from Australia, while most of his classmates were off to college, Geoff was working full-time, saving money and vacation days to travel to the U.S. and crew with an Australian Sprint Car team, unpaid. By 2000, he had become a full-time resident of the United States and a paid member of Randy Hannagan’s World of Outlaws crew. While his first love is dirt short track, it only took a few short years until he was working on IndyCar and Champ Car World Series teams at the biggest, fastest paved circuits.
His resume includes time with the Andretti and A.J. Foyt racing teams, as well as Indy Lights, Global Rallycross, Sprint, Midget, and other motorsports disciplines.
